What is the basic flight plan information?

A

FLT release #, AC N#, Dep/Arrival Airport, Dep/Arrival time, FLT rules, route, ETE, Crews Name, SOB, Risk #, tier 1 personnel approving FLT, purpose of FLT

What is required for LAHSO

A

Wet RWY is prohibited,
5sm miles VIS and 1500 feet ceiling
May be reduced to 1000 and 3 w/ a PAPI or VASI
No LAHSO w/ WS in last 20 min
Tail wind calm no more than 3 knots
At NGT only w/ approved FAA LGT for LAHSO

When do you need to file an alternate?

A

From 1 HR before to 1 HR after ETA ceiling is reporting:

1500AGL above the lowest circling or if no circling minimums the next straight in approach or 2000AGL which ever is higher

The visibility is 2sm more than the required vis for the approach to be used or 3sm which ever is higher.

How do you check the take off minimums?

A

Standard t/o mins are 1sm vis or 5000RVR Check the approach chart look for non-standard t/o mins. If there are non standard t/o mins then go to the t/o mins in the DEP section. Look at the RWY in use
