Goals + Objectives Flashcards
Define: System Goal
A system goal is the reason why you have a system. What is the purpose of the system that is running? Why did we bother to create this system?
If the system is a game for example, what do we want this system to achieve? Is it virtual reality (VR)? Is it a First Person Shooter (FPS)?
Define: Systems
Hardware, software, people and processes put in place to perform a function.
Examples:
- The postal system in Australia
- The attendance roll marking system at school - the system involves students being physically present, the teachers taking the roll on their laptops, CRTs taking the roll on paper, office staff checking the roll and late passes.
