Why is it difficult to goal set
This is because of how are brains are hard wired…. and goals means we have to push ourselves, but in order to be successful we have to be able to push our selves and be a problem solver who is adaptable open to change and willingness to embrace failures and setbacks that will happen during goal setting
Why are people scared to put them selves out there
Case they fail they dont want to look bad, but most of the time you fail to achieve something great

The ability to do what matters the most even when to difficult or part of you doesn’t want to do something. It is the ability to align yourself with the brain system that is thinking about long term goals rather than short term goals… it is a skill that can be strengthened by remembering your bigger goals

We live in a society driven by instant gratification, it is where something is done immediately and involves impulsive behavior with short term interest…. can be done with click of button and in heat of the moment
Delayed gratification
Having to work hard and wait for results, it is much more rewarding and means choosing short term pain for long term gain… it means using your willpower
