Anaemia
a condition in which there is a deficiency of red cells or of haemoglobin in the blood, resulting in pallor and weariness.

Antibody
any of numerous Y -shaped protein molecules produced by B cells as a primary immune defense, each molecule and its clones having a unique binding site that can combine with the complementary site of a foreign antigen, as on a virus or bacterium, thereby disabling the antigen and signaling other immune defences.
Lifecycle
the series of changes in the life of an organism including reproduction
Balanced diet
A diet that contains the proper proportions of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and water necessary to maintain good health.
Malnutrition
lack of proper nutrition, caused by not having enough to eat, not eating enough of the right things, or being unable to use the food that one does eat.
Food allergy
Food allergy is an immune system reaction that occurs soon after eating a certain food. Even a tiny amount of the allergy-causing food can trigger signs and symptoms such as digestive problems, hives or swollen airways.
Food intolerance
Food intolerance (or non-allergic food hypersensitivity) is a detrimental reaction, often delayed, to a food, beverage, food additive, or compound found in foods that produces symptoms in one or more body organs and systems, but generally refers to reactions other than food allergy.
Glucose
a simple sugar which is an important energy source in living organisms and is a component of many carbohydrates.
Insulin
a hormone produced in the pancreas by the islets of Langerhans, which regulates the amount of glucose in the blood. The lack of insulin causes a form of diabetes.
Anorexia Nervosa
lack or loss of appetite for food (as a medical condition).
Diabetes
a disorder of the metabolism causing excessive thirst and the production of large amounts of urine.
Bulimia
an emotional disorder characterized by a distorted body image and an obsessive desire to lose weight, in which bouts of extreme overeating are followed by fasti
Vegetarian
a person who does not eat meat or fish, and sometimes other animal products, especially for moral, religious, or health reasons.
Perishable
(especially of food) likely to decay or go bad quickly.
