Indigenous food
originating in and characteristic of a particular region or country
Rations

Scurvy
a disease caused by a deficiency of vitamin C, characterized by swollen bleeding gums and the opening of previously healed wounds, which particularly affected poorly nourished sailors until the end of the 18th century.

Dietary Habits are the habitual decisions of individuals or group of people regarding what foods they eat. Proper dietary choices require the consumption of vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Dietary habits and choices play a significant role in human health.

Cuisine
a style or method of cooking, especially as characteristic of a particular country, region, or establishment.
Values
the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something.
Attitude
a settled way of thinking or feeling about something.
Emotions
a strong feeling deriving from one’s circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.
Belief
an acceptance that something exists or is true, especially one without proof.
Media
the main means of mass communication (television, radio, and newspapers) regarded collectively.
Staple food
A staple food, or simply a staple, is a food that is eaten routinely and in such quantities that it constitutes a dominant portion of a standard diet for a given people, supplying a large fraction of energy needs and generally forming a significant proportion of the intake of other nutrients as well.
Hunter
a person or animal that hunts.
Gatherer
a member of a culture in which food is obtained by hunting, fishing, and foraging rather than by agriculture or animal husbandry.
