Peter pan collar:
flat collar that meets at the front and has rounded ends
jabot collar:
frilly and with ruffles, like lace, that hangs in fron of the shirt, popular in the 17th century as a men’s tie
Chelsea collar:
long v-neck collar down the front of the shirt, popular in 50’s and 60’s.
mandarin collar:
small close fitting collar that stands up and is open in the front
boot cut pant:
type of pant that tapers at the knee and flares out slightly at the ankle to accomdate wearing a boot.
Bermuda shorts:
type of shorts that ends just above the knee, either cuffed or uncuffed
stirrup pants:
type of women’s pant that has a band of elastic that goes under the arch of the foot. popular in activewear
pedal pushers:
type of mid-calf length pant, typcially tight and popular in the 50’s.
hip hugger pants:
type of pant that is tight fitting around hip and thighs and usually flare out at the bottom
box pleat skirt:
is a flat double pleat, creating a panel like appearence, bigger pleat
