Glomerular Disease Flashcards
Boy with glomerulonephritis (hematuria), after week he developed hemoptysis
The most likely diagnosis […]
Goodpasture syndrome
Pulmonary-Renal syndromes:
🔹Goodpasture : Hematuria + Hemoptysis (RPGN) anti-GBM. Tx: plasmapheresis
🔹IgA nephritis: Hematuria + GI/Resp infection
🔹Charg stauss (EGPA): Asthma + eosinophilia + nephritis
🔹Wegener (GPA): sinuses + lung + Kidney
🔹Microscopic polyangiitis: lung + kidney
60 yo diabetic patient with RA presented with lethargy and back pain. Calcium is High, Cr:Albumin ratio is High
Most likely cause of his kidney disease […]
Primary Amyloidosis
💡 Multiple Myeloma

Rheumatic Arthritis
What type of nephritic/nephrotic syndrome associated with SLE ?
Nephritis: class IV
Diffuse Progressive Glomerulonephritis
Nephrotic: class V
Membranous nephropathy
Classes & Tx of lupus nephritis:
Class I & II
minimal or proliferative mesengial
Tx: 🚫
Class III & IV
focal or diffuse glomerular
Tx: High dose steroid + IV cyclophosphamide/MMf
Class V
membranous
