Q

what are the ideas that sceptics have about globalisation?

A

1) that the idea of globalisation is inevitable and there’s no alternative ideology which is false because its a way for the west and the USA in particular to achieve their goal

2) the trend towards regionalisation and globalisation remains weak as sovereignty still resides within states

3) a large majority of economic activity takes place within the state so national economic policies are still highly relevant and TNCs are still primarily tied to their home nation state
