Extreme devotion to the country, in order to obtain the loyalty and support of their citizens

A state of hostility, without actual large-scale warfare, that existed between the power blocs led by the US and the USSR from the mid- 1940’s to the end of the 1980’s
Define imperialism
The control (political and/or economic) of one or more countries by a dominant nation
