The precipitatation is very distinct and tends to fall between regular perameters. usually there is not more than 800mm of rainfall in one year. Most regions receive less than 700mm but some are weet with more than 1300m per annum.

SRP 2- How do pressure cells influence precipitation

Answer 2

During the summer, regions of med climate are dominated by subtropical high pressure cells with dry sinking air that makes rainfall unlikely. There can be up to 5 months of drought.
