Only in people who’ve hit puberty; found mostly in the pubic, axillary, and beard areas
What is unique about merocrine glands?
Help w/thermoregulation; found all over body
Difference between apocrine and merocrine secretions?
Apocrine: viscous that, when mixed w/bacteria, has an odor. Merocrine: watery secretion called sweat (though, both are considered sweat)
