giving up to date information means that all the information that is given to service users is up to date and all correct. Giving out information that is not up to date may cause confusion or distress.

A
relevant: related to what the subject is.
useful: helps the service user with whatever they need help with.
given at an appropriate time: the information is given out when the information is needed.
is provided in a way that the service user understands: the service user is able to understand what the information is.
