diffuse neuroendocrine cells that secrete hormones. APUD stands for amine precursor uptake and decarboxylation.
What is the function of stem cells of gastric glands?
stem cells in neck replace other cells of the gastric pit.

folds of the mucosa, each with a submucosal core.
