  1. Laceration/subcapsular hematoma < 1cm
  2. Laceration/subcapsular hematoma >1 x 3 cm
  3. Massive hematoma > 10cm or destruction/devascularization of one lobe, active arterial bleeding
  4. destruction/devasculariziation of both lobes

A
  1. Laceration/subcapsuular hematoma 1 x 3cm, or splenic capsular disruption
    4a. Active extravasation, vascular injury, or shattered spleen
    4b. Active intraperitoneal bleeding

  2. 1cm laceration, no urinary extrav
  3. deep lac, urinary extra (collecting system), or renal a/v injury (OR TIME)
  4. shattered kid/avulsed renal hilum (OR TIME)
