- Tracking and panning shots of Andre to show his nerves
- White car pulls up whilst the camera is tracking him, creates suspense of what we don’t see
- The final shot is a longshot of Andre being dragged to the car, we are detatched from him
- Subverts our expectations

- Unknown white car which is washed in ‘whiteness’. The car tails Andre
- Andre sticks out in the neighboorhood, his costume shows the opposition in a ‘safe’ suburban neighbourhood
- Juxtaposition of a suburb that represents safety. Eg. Treyvon Martin\
- Wearing a blue shirt which connects him to the innocent side
- The attacker wears an all black outfit with a knights helmet, could suggest that the abducter believes they are doing a noble thing fighting for their safety
- This costume highlights themes of racsism and establishes the good versus bad
- Path appears to be surrounded by trees and walls to create a sense of entrapment
- ## Andre is the sole person to show his isolation

- Dialogue: I’m like a sore thumb out here, lack of belonging and exclusion for black people in typical white spaces
- ‘I’ll see you later baby’, foreshadowing danger and typical horror convention
- Andre looks visibly worried and out of place
- Andre’s stretched legs as he is being strangled, relates to lynching

- Single shot to gradually build tension and create the feeling of being followed
- Aligns us with Andre and the spectator

- Eerie, non diegetic music as the car pulls up which shows evil is lurking
- Diegetic sound of car getting closer, appears like a predator approaching
- Run, rabbit, run playing upbeat and happy which contradicts the unsettling scene
- The lyrics of the song mirror predator and prey
- The song becomes increasinly louder and non diegetic as music starts to escape
- It builds the fear and suspense as Andre fights for his life
- The car door slams shut and the music cuts to represent the chase is over
- Eerie, violin music as the car drives away
- Sets the atmosphere for the whole film and demonstrates the horror and conflict
