What are common side effects of haloperidol?
Extrapyramidal effects (parkinsonism, acute dystonia, akathisia, neuroleptic malignant syndrome), drowsiness, hypotension, QT prolongation and hyper prolactin anemia
How can haloperidol affect falling?
Makes patients more likely to fall due to parkinsonism and hypotension adverse effects
What type of drug is macrogol?
An osmotic laxative
What are side effects of osmotic laxatives?
Flatulence, abdominal cramping and nausea
What is the class, indication and side effects of oxybutynin?
Anti muscarinic
Urged incontinence/over active bladder
Dry mouth, constipation, exacerbation of cognitive impairment, N+V, dizziness/drowsiness, dyspepsia
What is the class, indication and side effects of Solfenacil?
Anti muscarinic
Used for urinary incontinence
Same as oxybutynin

Beta-3 antagonist
Used for urge urinary incontinence
Side effects of arrhythmias, constipation/diarrhoea, headache

Oxybutynin, tolteridine, darifenacin
What medications can be used for urinary incontinence if the first line medications are ineffective?
Solifenacin, tropsium
What is the class, indication and side effects of tamulosin?
Alpha adrenoreceptor antagonist (alpha blocker)
Indicated for benign prostatic hyperplasia
Side effects include dizziness, sexual dysfunction, postural hypotension (increased risk of falls in elderly especially those with orthostatic or postural hypotension)

Alpha blocker, used for BPH and hypertension
