Appalachian mountains, shallow seas. Insects, fish and amphibians.

Canadian Shield, Brazilian Shield, African Shield, Australian Shield. Bacteria/algae and jelly fish.

Precambrian- 4.6 billion years
Paleozoic- 570 million years
Mesozoic- 245 million years
Cenozoic- 66 million years
