Glaciated landscapes; contain fjords

They are flooded valley (U-shaped) inlets, similar to the coastlines of Alaska and New Zealand; one is located in Norway

Pyrenees, Alps, Apennines, Carpathians, Dinaric Alps, and Balkans

How is the EU organized?
It was first organized to focus on the region’s coal and steel industries and now it’s focus is on economic’s and political integration

Industrial Revolution started in England in the Pennine Mountains with textile and became the leader of the industrial world in 1900 by producing 90% of the world’s manufactured output
What is the Schism between Western and Eastern Christianity?
The formal split with western Christianity in 1054 CE

Redrawing of the map of Europe after 1918; created new states (Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia) and reestablished Poland, Finland, Estonia, etc.
