Globalization expands business operations worldwide and is facilitated by communications, technological advancements, and socioeconomic, political, and environmental developments. It gives organizations a superior competitive position and lower operating costs to increase products, services, and consumers.
What is a RENEWABLE RESOURCE?
A renewable resource is a resource of which there is an endless supply because it can be replenished
What are NON-RENEWABLE RESOURCES?
Nonrenewable energy comes from sources that will run out or will not be replenished in our lifetime.
What are the FLOW RESOURCES?
A resource is a source or supply mostly comprised of a part of earth that humans value and from which a benefit is derived. Naturally occurring materials are regarded as resources when they are valued by humanity
Example of RENEWABLE RESOURCES
solar energy, wind, falling water, the heat of the earth (geothermal), plant materials, etc.
Examples of NON-RENEWABLE RESOURCES
oil, natural gas, coal, and nuclear energy, etc.
Examples of FLOW RESOURCES
fish stocks, forests, fresh water, wind, solar energy and tidal range
