A tributary is a stream that feeds into a larger stream or river.
Mouth
The place where a river enters a lake, larger river, or the ocean.
Drainage basin
A drainage basin is an area of land where water from rain or snow melt drains downhill into a body of water.
Watershed
A watershed is an area of land that drains water into a specific water body.
Estuary
An estuary is an area where river or stream meets the ocean.
