Describe topography, climate vegetation and soil fertility of baja california
Really hot, and very dry. Hardly andy rain at all similar to a desert.
Altiplano of mexico topography
not alot of rain, somewhat arid, rain falls on coast of mountains
Sierra madre occidental and sierra madre oriental topography
the two mountains have steep peaks, it gets colder as the altitude rises, not a lot of trees, and the soil is only fertile on the side where rain hits-the other side is like dry
Coastal plains of mexico topography
they are flat plains near the coasts, i think the climate is mild, the only vegetation is grass n like small shrubs, and u dont have to know the soil fertile bc we didnt go over it
volcanic axis topography
just a large set of volcanoes
Yucatan peninsula topography
low, lots of rain, no rivers because of the limestone
Southern Highlands topography
They are just highlands not more then that
Central America topography
mostly mountainous besides on the coasts, mild in most parts but as u get closer to the equator the temperature rises
The bahamas Topography
Bad soil, tropical weather,
The greater antilles topography
on the western sides of the islands in the caribbean its plains and on the est side its forests. All rain drops on west side. Greater= 4 big islands.
the lesser antilles
Same as greater antilless with bad fertility of soil, and tropical weather
The andes topography
higher in elevation less plants, and then the tree line where no trees can grow, mostly just grass, colder as goes up.
The brazilian highlands topography
83% rainforest
the guiana highlands topography
just high flat plains
The amazon basin topography
can be incredibly hot
The llanos topography
above amazonian plain
the Gran Chaco topograhy
can get very hot, and dry. Not suitable for farmers. Too hot. Bad soil and climate
the pampas topography
Moderate rain, moderate temperature, flat grasslands, important for exporting and has great fertile soil. PERFECT FOR FARMERS.
Patagonia topography
Patagonia is too dry and too cold for farmers. Bad soil
Coastal plains of South America Topography
Factors that cause the patterns described in 25-45.
Analyze impact geographic features and patterns have had on humans in latina america, including impact on settlement patterns, travel, food production.
