E.g Solar power and water
What is a non renewable resource?
E.g. Coal and oil
What Is groundwater
Water that is found under the earths surface
What is groundwater recharge
It is a process in which water moves down from the earths surface into the groundwater
What does the word permeable mean
It means something has pores that allows water to pass through it.
What is blue water?
It consists of fresh surface water and groundwater. These two types include the water in freshwater lakes, rivers etc.
What is green water
Water that doesn’t run into streams or recharge but stored in the stored in the soil or stays on top of soil or vegetation eg water in plants
What is water scarcity
A situation that occurs when the demand for water is greater than the supply available
