What is metropole?
A metropole is a big, important urban area that helps organize and lead a larger area, and it connects that area to the rest of the world.
What is megapole?
Megapoles are huge cities with over 10 million people. In 2021, there were 49 megacities around the world, mostly in Asia.
What is megalopole?
A megalopolis is a big group of cities connected by lots of roads and trains. It’s larger and has more people than a regular city. Sometimes includes forests, wetlands, and empty spaces.
