An eating disorter caused by regular, often secretive bouts of overeating (binge eating)

helps to maintain the health of the lining of the gut

What is the difference between Saturated Fat and Unsaturated Fat. Examples
Unsaturated fats are better for you and are often considered heart-healthy. Saturated fats increase cholesterol levels and heart disease risk

Metabolism is the chemical reactions in the body’s cells that change food into energy.
What does protein do for the body, examples
Protein is used to build and repair muscles and bones and to make hormones and enzymes.
Ex: eggs, nuts/seeds, beans, meats, lentils, peas.
what do carbohydrates do for our body
Carbs are the body’s main fuel source/energy production
difference between complex and simple carbs
Complex carbohydrates take longer to digest and are a more stable source of energy than simple carbohydrates
why are natural sugars better than processed
eating to much processed sugar can lead to weight gain, blood sugar problems and an increased risk of heart disease
why is fiber good
helps to prevent or relieve constipation, and helps to keep our digestive system healthy.
