An area with common features that set it apart from other areas

The natural plant life in an area
Vegetation
The weather pattern an area has over a long period of time
Climate
Runs west and east and measures the distance north and south of the equator
Latitude
Height above sea level
Altitude
Rivers running through the ocean
Ocean currents
Show land divided into different countries or areas. They can also show political borders, capital cities and important cities.
Political Maps
Living and non-living things made by nature that are useful and helpful to humans
Natural Resources
A natural resource that can renew, rebuild or replace itself given enough time.
Renewable Resources
The way of life of a group of people.
