it has a tundra landscape covered in permafrost and low vegatation. ice caps, glaciers, and icebergs along the coastlines.

older mountains and valleys, and diverse forest. it is known for its scenic beauty.

flat landscape with fertile soils. it includes the prairies.

has many rivers, lakes and wetlands. long, cold winters and short, cool summers. diverse wildlife.
