Human features = human-made, cultural characteristics

Describes an area of the earth’s surface with similar characteristics.

A region in which people perceive, or see, the characteristics of the region in the same way

Movement is how and why people, plants, animals, and ideas move through time and location.
Human Environment Interaction
Humans adapt to the environment by altering what they do and how they do it.
Humans modify the environment by changing the landscape to suit their needs.
Adaptation
Being able to use what the environment offers people

Map Projection
A mathematical formula used to represent the curved surface of the Earth on the flat surface of a map
