Homozygous
Having 2 of the same allele
Heterozygous
Having 2 different alleles
Phenotype
The trait that is visually expressed, what you see
Genotype
The 2 alleles that a person has for a trait, the “genes”
Codominance
Both traits are equally dominant, and both show up fully in the offspring (patches or spots of color)
Incomplete dominance
Neither trait is completely dominant over the other. The two traits blend or mix in the offspring (an in-between color; medium height).
