- God created the universe (Genesis 1 and 2)
- Adam and Eve have to leave the Garden of Eden because they disobeyed God (Genesis 3)
- Cain kills Abel (Genesis 4)
- Noah builds an ark to save his family, and two of each animal on earth, from the coming flood. (Genesis 6)
- People from all regions come together to build the Tower of Babel in an attempt to see God (Genesis 11)
- The cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because their inhabitants turned away from God. (Genesis 18)
- God tells Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac. Isaac is spared because of Abraham’s faithfulness. (Genesis 22)
