A predetermination, or intent, at the time of a killing to willfully take the life of a human being or an intent to willfully act in callous and wanton disregard of the consequences to human life.
Malice aforethought
The unjustifiable, inexcusable, and intentional killing of a human being without deliberation, premeditation, and malice.
manslaughter
The unlawful killing of another with malice aforethought without the specific intent to kill the victim.

The intentional commission of a wrongful act, absent justification, with the intent to cause harm to others
