Or when has previously received a post maintenance or mainline prep earlier that day. - When a train is transferred between Melb yard stabling & north wash plant
- At any location when train is to be moved but will not enter or foul a running line outside of station limits

Prior to train entering mainline services or revenue service for the first time each day

- After a full scheduled maintenance exam in a workshop
- Undergoing major repairs/ex collision
- Safety critical equipment or brake failure repairs
