Hello, my name is Robert Ingram, I’m a second-year medical student at imperial college London. I have been asked to perform an examination on your [heart/lungs/tummy/limbs] today. This will involve me having a look listen and feel of your [chest/tummy/limbs] and will you may need to lie [flat (abdo)] on the bed [at a 45-degree angle (resp and cardio)]. Is that okay?
It may also involve you exposing your [chest/abdomen] is that ok?
Can I just clarify your name and date of birth? *wash hands as asking this
