How do you obtain permission to fly your drone in controlled airspace?
Contact Nav Canada vis the Nav Drone app, submit your proposed operation and once approved, you will obtain a Flight Report containing the conditions for approval along with a code
Within 1Nm or less of an uncontrolled aerodome in Class G airspace, what do you need to be able to fly a drone in this area?
RPAS Basic Pilot Certificate, not interfere with air traffic operations, ensure situational awareness, monitor air traffic frequency if able and notify the aerodome operator or local stakeholders of your intended operations as a courtesy

With regards to airports and heliports, a basic RPAS pilot may fly no closer than __Nm and __Nm, respectively
