A

Describes the clockwise movement of the Qi through the five elements. It only flows in one direction. AKA the cycle of generation: each element is generating the element in front of it.

A

A

Group of points along the meridian that are located among the points below the knees and elbows. Command points occur where the polarity of Yin and Yang occur. Command Points allow us to affect an official directly and command the energy of the official through these points. All meridians have Command Points.

Source Points

A

A command point. Each meridian has one source point. Some points are the most direct way to affect an official. They are also the safest points to use on the meridian to affect the official. Source Points are often the first points we use to treat an official.

Element Points

A

Each meridian of an official has one representative of each element as a point among its command points. Element points are the representation of the five elements in each meridian. They bring that element’s quality to the official.

Junction Point

A

Each meridian of each official has a junction point that is a point that opens two officials of each element. It allows the two officials to communicate. It is used to balance the energy between both officials of each element.

A

The element within the command points and is the element of that official itself. Clinically, the use of the points has to be at the hour of the peak of that official in that official’s season.
