Article 1: The British Federation
The British Federation comprises lodges of the International Order of Freemasonry for Men and Women LE DROIT HUMAIN in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
Article 2: The Triangle of the 33rd Degree
. The Triangle of Sovereign Grand Inspectors General 33 for the British Federation is authorised by the Supreme Council
. and shall meet at least four times a year
. and whenever there is business to transact
. The MPGC is the Ruler of the Triangle
. Its functions are specified by the Supreme Council - to support the MPGC in the execution of his duties
Article 3: Makeup of the National Council
. The National Council is the administrative body for the Federation
. It comprises 15 members, including a President, Secretary and Deputy-Secretary all elected triennially at the National Convention
. The President and Secretary must be a PM
. The Deputy-Secretary must hold at least the degree of MM
. At least two members must hold the 18th degree or above and two members must hold the the 32nd degree
. At least two members must hold all the Allied Degrees outside the AASR
. The remaining members must hold at least the degree of MM
. The MPGC attends all meetings of the National Council ex officio
Article 4: Responsibilities of the National Council
The Council deals with all administrative issues relating to the craft, higher and allied degrees, except the Federation Finances
Article 5: Decisions of the National Council
. All the decisions of the Council are valid if 50% of members (including the President) are present
. In the unavoidable absence of the President, the members present may appoint one of their number to chair the meeting
. Majority decisions shall apply
. In the event of a tie, the President has a casting vote
Article 12: Byelaws
. The National Council and the Finance committee shall have Byelaws
. Which must be in accordance with the International Constitution and the General Regulations
. Such byelaws or any alterations or additions to existing byelaws must be proposed and seconded and shall appear on the agenda for discussion and approval at the National Convention
. The byelaws should be reviewed at least once every five years
