By-Laws

A

. Every lodge shall have by-laws
. In accordance with the constitution and regulations
. Must be proposed and seconded and shall appear on the agenda to be discussed and balloted for
. If approved two copies must be printed to be signed by the President of the National Council, who returns one and retains the other

Membership

A

Minimum:
. Undertake in writing to be active and in good standing for three years and to attend unless unable. If you resign before then, fees are liable

Age
. Can’t be admitted before 18, but may be proposed when 17.5. Can’t be an MM before 21

Passport

A

. Every member has one with a photo
. Dates of degrees and allied degrees must be entered and signed by the Ruler

Good standing

A

. Not a regular Freemason unless in good standing with a craft lodge
. Good standing means current subscriptions are paid before the end of the lodge’s financial year

Fees

A

. Must be paid in advance and no ceremony shall take place until
. The National Council may remit all or some of a fee in special cases. The lodge must still pay capitation and registration fees
