. Love Brethren
. Submit to the law, particularly Masonic law, freely accepted
. Observe strictly the law of silence and to meditate
. Research whence we have come
. Avoid misplaced zeal or propaganda
. Tolerance
. Work assiduously, absorb Masonic ideals, understand Brethren, unite with them to realise the precepts of the Order, be tolerant and indulgent toward Brethren, merciless to yourself
. Understand that Freemasonry is above all initiatory and it is primarily thus that it differs from the profane
