What does pushing out the recirc fans button do?
Turns off the recirc fans.
What does pushing in the RECIRC button do?
Allows auto operation. Turns on both recirc fans IAW systems logic.
What if affected by turning the recirc fans off at the gate?
Cooling air stops in the forward and center E-bays.
What does pushing out the pack 1 (or 2) button do?
Manually closes the respective pack valve.
What does pushing in the pack 1 or 2 button do?
Opens the respective pack valve IAW with system logic.
What does pushing out the XBLEED button do?
Manually closes the XBLEED valve.
What does pushing in the XBLEED valve do?
Allows automatic operation IAW system logic.
What does pushing out BLEED 1 or 2 button do?
Manually closes the BLEED valve.
What does pushing in the BLEED valve do?
Allows automatic operation IAW system logic.
What does pushing out the APU BLEED button do?
Closes the APU BLEED valve.
What does pushing in the APU BLEED valve do?
Allows automatic operation IAW system logic.
What does the ATTEND position do on the PAX CABIN knob?
Gives control of the cabin temp to the FA panel.
What would be an indication of an engine bleed leak?
Amber stripped bar on associated bleed button.
What type of switch is the DUMP button?
A momentary guarded push button.
What happens when the dump button is pushed momentarily?
A white stripped bar illuminates and the cabin pressure decreases at a rate of 2000ft/min until it reaches 14,200’. It only works in the AUTO mode and will cause both packs and recirc fans to deactivate.
What is the normal position of the CABIN ALT knob?
12 o’clock position (stop)
What does the LFE CTRL position of the MODE knob do?
Allows the related LFE knob to be used to set the Landing Field Elevation in 100’ increments

- Failed Open- Green circle line aligned to flow covered by amber X
- Unknown- Amber dashed circle with no lines
