Reporting Sickness or Injury

Answer 1

Any member who is unable to report to duty due to illness or injury shall notify the on-duty battalion chief prior to 0600 hrs

Reporting Sickness or Injury from 2200-0600

Answer 2

The member shall call the battalion chief answering machine @ 714 741 5686 and state his name, rank, station assignment, and anticipated return to duty date

Question 3

Shift Change Responsibility

Answer 3

It is the off-going member’s responsibility to inform his relief of any changes in the station, equipment, apparatus, and organization which might affect his relief in the performance of his duty. Any unusual occurrences in the prior shift should be noted.
It is the on-coming members responsibility to seek that information in a face-to-face with his relief immediately upon reporting to duty.

Conference Call (The Purpose)

The purpose of conference call is to provide communication among all field personnel, staff personnel, and company officers and is designed to spread information that is of interest and importance department wide

Information from all stations should include apparatus status, activities for the day, and any special information or requests
