Our scale does not go past 5 ppm. At 50ppm back out of the loop.

- During start up.
2. Gives a buffer for your steam load. You can open or close this based on if you need less or more steam.
How can you steady the pressure in E-509.
You can shut a supply valve off to one side of E-509.
What do you do if you have lost all E-509 fans.

Purge gas stream.
How can you increase TIC-6045 temp.
Shut bottom dampers. You can starve the furnace for air. You will see a sharp spike in combustables.
If the temp is to high on TIC-6045 you can starve the furnace for air.
What loop speed works best to control the heat up of the Borsig.
20 to 25 m/s. This will slowly warm the Borsig and not cause a large swell.
On start up what does closing PIC-4005 do.
It will lower your H2 flow.
How can you help smooth out a transition to half rates or flat.
Set HIC-4012 to 60% set FIC-4011 to manual and open it while closing HIC-4012.
What does a higher then set point temp on TIC-6045 say about the super heater.
This tells you that you might be starving the super heater of air.
TIC-6041 PV will drop while the control will call for more heat.
What is one way to keep the steam system stable on start up
Hold gas back with FIC-4001 and pressure up Nova. This will keep the pressre off PIC-4010 so you dont have to speed up.
At what point do you know that HIC-4012 is open despite their being room to open futher.
You stop seeing an increase in loop velocity.
