Name, Locate, and Discuss Three Miracles
- Mark 2:12 (Heals a paralytic)
- This shows that Jesus has the ability to forgive sins - John 11:43 (Raising of Lazarus)
- Jesus shows that he is the resurrection and the life. Foreshadows his own resurrection and that believers will be raised as well. - John 6:1-15 (Jesus feeds the 5,000)
- Shows that he is the bread of life, who will care for his people and provide for their spiritual needs
Name, Locate, and Discuss Three Parables
- The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32)
- Son runs away from family, comes back, forgiven and party thrown
- God is willing to forgive wayward people
- A rebuke to the self-righteous, who don’t know he came to save sinners - Parable of the Net (Matthew 13:47-50)
- KoG like net thrown into sea, gathering lots of fish
- God will judge at the end of the age, separating the good and the evil - Parable of the Great Banquet (Luke 14:16-24)

- We cannot be justified by our own works. We can only be justified through Christ and his grace.

Matthew 22:37-40: Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
