    - This shows that Jesus has the ability to forgive sins
  2. John 11:43 (Raising of Lazarus)
    - Jesus shows that he is the resurrection and the life. Foreshadows his own resurrection and that believers will be raised as well.
  3. John 6:1-15 (Jesus feeds the 5,000)
    - Shows that he is the bread of life, who will care for his people and provide for their spiritual needs

    - Son runs away from family, comes back, forgiven and party thrown
    - God is willing to forgive wayward people
    - A rebuke to the self-righteous, who don’t know he came to save sinners
  2. Parable of the Net (Matthew 13:47-50)
    - KoG like net thrown into sea, gathering lots of fish
    - God will judge at the end of the age, separating the good and the evil
  3. Parable of the Great Banquet (Luke 14:16-24)
    - Master invites many people, they make excuses. Goes to outcasts
    - No excuses for not following Jesus
    - Jesus will bring in the outcasts to his kingdom.
