What bacteria causes positive cold agglutinates?
Mycobacteria
19 YO with PUO for 2 months
Gram Cultures come back 2 months with Gram +ve cocci
Potential: IE –> Strep Viridans

What is the most common pathogen/ cause of CNS infection?
Viral meningitis by far commonest
Then Bacterial
Young people: neisseria menincoccodis
Older people: Strep pneumoniae
What are common pathogens that are gram +ve rods?
Neisseria monocytogenes
