Areas where patients are scheduled to see providers for a brief visit and DO NOT contain rooms or beds
Outpatient departments
Areas where both admitted and scheduled patients are seen and then return home or back to the unit admitted to. Example Radiology
Hospital Outpatient Depts (HOD)
Exist only as a login department
Used by Clinicians to provide care to admitted pts all over the hospital
Areas not used for patient care but can login and access tools Bus Office

Represents the business entities of the organization.
Track revenue and accounts receivable
Can represent a Geographical location, affiliate, or entire organization

Entire enterprise or organization
For each enterprise or organization there is always only one facility level record
