Math 110 Placement

A
  • 108 = placed into 108 and need to take MTH 108/109 stretch Algebra
  • 110 = placed into MTH 110, can take MTH 110
  • 999 = tested OUT of MTH 110, do not need to take it
  • MTH 110 is a prerequisite for STA 215, ECO 210, ECO 211, & CIS 231 (students need to take this or test out in their first year at GVSU

A

*can score two ways:
- 122 = student tested into MTH 122 and can take the course (need to have taken 110 or received a 999 on their 110 placement to take MTH 122
- 999 = tested OUT of MTH 122 and can waive the quantitative group requirement
