Improves perfusion bc it contracts heart.
It vasoconstricts
Improves inhalation bc it stimulates smooth muscle
How does atropine work?
Blocks vegus nerve action- increases SA node resulting in tachycardia
How does lidocaine work
Treats ventricular arrhythmia
Decreases sensitivity of heart to electrical impulses
Blocks sodium channel
How do you treat hyperkalemia?
Calcium gluconate
What are the triage classes ?
1-catastrophic NOW
2- critical WITHIN HOUR
3- urgent WITHIN FEW HOURS
4- less serious WITHIN 24 HRS
