What are the complications of brain tumors?
A
- Benign (can be removed and patient will survive) and malignant terminology.
- Destruction of vital centers.
- Blocking passage of CSF and causing hydrocephalus.
- Hemorrhage in the tumor.
- Cerebral edema with herniation
- Increased intracranial venous pressure will result in papilledema (“choked disk”).
