What are rectus sheath hematoma types?
Type I: within muscle, doesn’t cross midline
Type II: Within rectus muscle dissecting along rectus/transversalis fascia, crosses midline
Type III: Below arcuate line and extending into prevesical space and peritoneum
What are the phases of wound healing?
Inflammation: 1-10 days
Proliferation: 5 days - 3 weeks
Remodeling: 3 weeks - 1 year
What are the main cell types during wound healing?
0-2 days: PMN
3-4 days: Macrophages
>5 days: fibroblast
What type of collagen is present in the phases of wound healing?
Proliferation: Type III
Remodeling: Type I
