Wha is gender based abuse?
When a person takes advantage of the other person’s gender and abuses them.
Why are women often considered an easy target for abuse?
They are usually the physically weaker than males and are therefore an easy target for men to pick on.
Why would a man abuse a woman?
He may have been drinking or just comes home tired and moody, and then expresses his frustration/anger by abusing his wife.
What are your ideas on gender based abuse?
When men abuse women and children, it’s actually a violent, cowardly way of letting all his frustration out.
How are women protected from abuse?
In the Constitution, women’s rights are protected in the Bill of Rights. It is against the law for a man to abuse a woman, whether she is his wife or not.
