What would you expect to be received in terms of ident and LLZ indications where the GP is out of service?
If the GP is radiating test signals, the LLZ will not be radiated; If the GP is switched off, the LLZ may be radiated with the ident.
GEN 3.4 : 2.8.2
On a SIGWX chart, what does this symbol signify?
Mountain waves
GEN 3.5 : 23
For an aircraft, what constitutes being “in the vicinity”?
Within 10 nm and at a height that could result in conflict with operations at the aerodrome.

With respect to weather reports, what does VC mean?
Weather in the vicinity of the aerodrome (between 8 and 16 km).
GEN 3.5 : 12.12.5
