smoking
tobacco smoke is an inducer of cytochrome P450 which is a liver isoenzyme that metabolises clozapine leading to increased breakdown of clozapine and therefore lower levels of it in the bloodstream
smokers will be prescribed a higher dose of clozapine to balance this out
